  I was visiting from Virginia and had a craving for Greek food when I found Greektown Taverna as the result of a Google search. I am VERY picky about Greek food. I have eaten in a few excellent Greek restaurants in my lifetime, and hold all Greek food to the standards of the restaurants I feel have provided an outstanding dining experience. "Average" food of any type, in any restaurant, is a waste of time and money. Greektown Taverna's food was wonderful. I would definitely put the food, cleanliness, and service all in the "excellent" category. Greektown Taverna is now on my list as a "must stop" whenever I am in the area, which is several times a year. This restaurant is family owned and a family member was circulating through the dining room, checking on the satisfaction of the customers. This is another thing that makes a good restaurant great!
